Hello and welcome to the PharmD department!

We at the PharmD department at the faculty of Pharmacy are excited to welcome you to our ambitious community who are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities through the safe and effective use of medications along with providing high quality patient care. Also, we would like to extend our warm welcome to all of our new PharmD students. Our department is dedicated to providing you with a comprehensive educational experience that will prepare and empower you for a successful future career in pharmacy.

As a department head, I would like to share some information about the Faculty and department. The Faculty of Pharmacy at Jadara University was established in 2015, and students’ enrolment to study therein was started in the first semester of the same academic year, 2015/2016. Since its establishment, the Faculty of Pharmacy was equipped with the latest equipments, instruments, laboratories, and modern classrooms required for the teaching process in order to provide a world-class teaching to our students. Moreover, the Faculty had also attracted a distinguished academic staff to achieve its aspiration.

During the first semester of the academic year 2022/2023, the Faculty had obtained all approvals to establish a Doctor of Pharmacy program, and students’ admission had started in the second semester of the academic year 2022-2023. The PharmD program at Jadara University is the first PharmD program in national private universities, and it comprises 210 credit hours over a period of six years. The curriculum was finely designed such that it integrates quality classroom teaching with experiential and clinical training activities that will give students hands-on experience in a variety of pharmacy practice settings in order to graduate pharmacists that are highly competent and capable of providing high quality patient-centered care both in the hospital and community settings.
