Outcomes

The department seeks to achieve the following outcomes in the graduate of the Arabic language and literature:

 1. Mastering the language skills that delay the graduate to work in education, or in other related institutions.

 2. Possession of knowledge in the literary life since the pre-Islamic era.

 3. Possession a cooperative personality who believes and works in the spirit of teamwork.

 4. Having a flexible personality that desires more knowledge and wants to develop. 5. Proficiency in dealing with computers and undergoing direct computer courses for the employer.

 6. Familiarity with English

 

The strategic objectives of the programs of the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at the Faculty of Arts and Languages ​​at Jadara University

 

The Arabic language occupied great importance for Muslims. It is the language of Islamic legislation: the Qur’an and the Prophet’s Sunnah. It has also become the language of politics, science, and literature. It has influenced many other languages ​​in the Islamic world, such as Turkish and Persian.

 

Accordingly, the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at the Faculty of Arts and Languages ​​at Jadara University is working to achieve the strategic goals emanating from the strategic plan of the college and university, which revolve around the following:

 

1. Preparing specialized researchers in the various fields of language, and at all levels.

 

2. Develop future strategies that serve the Arabic language.

 

3. Preparing researchers in fields that serve communication between Arab and foreign cultures, especially in the globally open Jordanian society.

 

4. Obtaining academic accreditation and ensuring the quality of the program of the Department of Arabic Language and Literature.

 

5. Opening a postgraduate program and a diploma for learning Arabic for non-native speakers.

 

6. Encouraging and developing scientific research.

 

7. Upgrading the student's scientific and intellectual level and developing his skills.

 

8. Developing the department's study plans.

 

9. Rehabilitation and development of academic competencies and administrative cadres in the department.

 

The sub-objectives emanating from the strategic objectives of the Arabic language department are as follows:

 

Develop language and communication skills to enhance and refine the creative energies of students.

 

Providing students with literary and critical skills and developing them in an environment based on self and cooperative learning.

 

Developing the spirit of pride in the Arabic language and the Arab-Islamic heritage and reading it critically and objectively.

 

Develop a culture of dialogue and openness to the other and his civilization.

 

Strengthening scientific and cultural ties with the Arabic language departments in universities, institutes, Arabic language academies and their councils locally, regionally and internationally, in a way that contributes to the development of the university and enhancing its scientific status.

 

Focus on the scientific research movement in the department by encouraging research and working to provide support for research projects and interest in scientific publishing locally and internationally.
