Objectives

Renewable Energy Engineering Program Educational Objectives (PEO's):

1.  Providing the local and Arab market with renewable energy engineers with distinguished scientific competence and high professional ethics who are able to understand and solve renewable energy problems at the individual and local community levels.
2.  Identifying the problems facing society in general, especially in the field of energy and environment, and contributing to addressing them and integrating them with various sciences.
3. Understanding the basic sciences in mathematics, physics, etc., which enable graduates of renewable energy engineering to understand the properties of engineering materials used individually, and the relationships that govern their complex behavior and characteristics within the design and implementation processes.
4. The student’s awareness of the necessity of completing learning and training, following developments, attending scientific conferences in the field of specialized renewable energy engineering, and completing postgraduate studies.
5. Preparing qualified graduates in the field of energy in general and renewable energy in particular who have various communication skills and tools with engineering institutions and with relevant institutions in the public and private sectors, capable of designing and implementing renewable energy projects.
6. Developing the academic process in accordance with national accreditation standards and international requirements for competence and meeting the needs of engineering and educational institutions with highly qualified and competitive cadres. 
7. Developing the thinking process and the ability to take initiative, develop and manage engineering work.
8. Commitment to the ethical standards and behaviors required in practicing engineering work with honesty, integrity, competence and transparency.
