At the Doctor of Pharmacy Department within the Faculty of Pharmacy, we are delighted to welcome you to our vibrant and ambitious community, dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals and communities through the safe and effective use of medications, alongside delivering high-quality patient care. We extend our warmest greetings to all our new Doctor of Pharmacy students. Our department is committed to providing you with a comprehensive educational experience that will prepare and empower you for a successful career in pharmacy.

As Head of the Department, I would like to share some background about the Faculty and our department. The Faculty of Pharmacy at Jadara University was established in 2015, with the first cohort of students admitted in the first semester of the 2015/2016 academic year. Since its inception, the Faculty has been equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, modern laboratories, and advanced classrooms, all designed to deliver a world-class learning experience. We have also attracted distinguished academic staff to help us achieve our mission.

In the first semester of the 2022/2023 academic year, the Faculty received full approval to launch the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program, with student admissions commencing in the second semester of that same academic year. The Doctor of Pharmacy program at Jadara University is the first of its kind among national private universities. It consists of 210 credit hours delivered over six years. Our curriculum is carefully designed to integrate high-quality classroom teaching with experiential and clinical training, offering students hands-on experience across diverse pharmacy practice settings. This approach ensures our graduates are highly competent, well-prepared, and capable of providing exceptional patient-centered care in both hospital and community environments.
