The Computer Science department was established at the beginning of the first semester 2008/2009. The department qualified faculty members holds Ph.D. and master degrees from a reputable high ranking regional and international universities, covering all specialized fields of computer science, to prepare qualified, specialized, creative, and pioneer  graduates to meet the rapid needs of local and regional market.

       The department awards a bachelor’s degree in computer science, complying with all accreditation standards, local and international quality standers, and keeping-up with the rapid development of information technology through continuous updating of courses description and study plans. Multi-purpose laboratories, networks and carefully designed classrooms have been equipped with all technological devices in order to meet local and regional requirements.

The Department of Computer Science offers some special courses for university students in various disciplines as compulsory or elective requirements of the university.
