The Department of Law at the Faculty of Law in Jadara University was established concurrently with the founding of the Faculty of Law and Jadara University in 2006. The Department currently offers the following programs:

The Bachelor of Law program, established on 24/7/2008.

The Master of Law program, established on 16/7/2009.

The Master of Jurisprudence in Cybercrimes program, established on 25/8/2021.

The Higher Diploma in Criminology program, established in 2022.
The vision of the Department of Law aligns with the visions of both the Faculty of Law and the University. It is committed to ensuring that the Department remains a leading academic center that supplies the community with highly qualified cadres, equipped with knowledge and expertise, trained in research, and driven to continuously enhance performance. These graduates are prepared to meet the needs of the labor market and contribute significantly to the building and service of society.
To achieve this overarching vision, the Department of Law adopts a mission that harmonizes with the goals of the Faculty and the University. This mission is centered on developing quality education and distinctive scientific research capable of equipping students with diverse academic skills, in addition to enriching their moral values fostered by the Faculty's departments.
In the practical implementation of its vision and mission, the Department diligently strives to achieve objectives stemming from the goals of the Faculty and the University. These objectives are focused on advancing scientific research, updating curricula to match the needs of the local and regional labor markets, and ensuring that its affiliates adopt a strategy of quality standards and assurance.
The Department of Law aims to achieve several goals, the most prominent of which is graduating cadres armed with knowledge and skills, capable of practicing their specializations successfully and with distinction, possessing a broad cultural awareness, and recognizing the importance of these specializations for the advancement and progress of society.
The Department's future outlook is to expand its specializations and programs and work towards building a generation equipped with knowledge and scientific thought capable of confronting the challenges, difficulties, and continuous changes brought about by the era of globalization and competition.
Hundreds of students of various nationalities are enrolled in the Department. They are taught by professors across all academic ranks, who have been meticulously selected based on their extensive experience in university teaching and their significant publications in research and educational reference books
