Department goals: 

1- The scientific and legalization of customs science courses that will be taught at the university and other universities in the future.

2- Providing students of the department with information and practical experiences that enable them to keep abreast of developments related to customs work and international agreements.

3- Enhancing students' knowledge in the process of applying standards for standards control, health safety, environmental protection, nature and society.

4- Providing qualified and trained human cadres to assist in decision-making; This is by providing information that encourages investment, or through information that drives economic growth  .

5- Providing qualified human cadres that meet the requirements of the labor market and bridge the gap between education outcomes and the needs of the local and regional market.
